The Corrosive Challenge “Crop it”

Our challenge this week at the Corrosive Challenge Blog is sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and the theme is “Crop it” to crop your image in some way.  I love this image Parrish-New Orleans, because I love anything dark and voodoo-y :p  I cropped the bottom of her dress.  I just kept seeing her in a frame, on the wall of an old Louisiana plantation, and so that is what I tried to create with my frame, and spooky cobweb/spider.  The frame are just some then wood slates I picked up in a thrift store.  The web is Halloween webbing and the spider punch is made by EK Success.  Hope you like her.  Thanks for visiting!

I colored my image with Copics.  I then created “rips” in my paper and hand stitched then to match the theme of the image.  My “ribbon” is an old Halloween webbing door cover that I ripped up (it was 50c on the clearance rack, now that’s a deal!)
