This month’s challenge is Anything Goes!  I choose to work with Kenny K’s Cabaret.  I colored the image with Copics and then cut her out and perched her on top of a “ribbon” of bling and some lace fringe.  The papers used were from The Paper Studio and GCD.  Corner hardware is Vintaj Art Metal. I used 3-D foam tape to lift her and the row of bling up and add additional dimension to the card.

The next blog on the list is Rachelle’s.  Hope you have a great time on our hop and are enjoying all the fantastic creations!

Corrosive Challenge – All Work no Play

Today’s Challenge over at The Corrosive Challenge Blog is about All Work and no Play.  I’m sure we can all relate to that!  Our sponsor is Kenny KKKDBlinkie1

Kenny K has offered the winner of the challenge a prize of 3 digi stamps!

For my card, I used Naughty Nurse.   All work no playI colored her with Copics, then hand stitched the edges and the strips under my main panel.  I thought about using the sewing machine, but didn’t think I would be able to keep them centered on those little strips!

If you have never played  in one of our challenges before, what are you waiting for?  Head on over there now and join the fun!

This is for the Huanted Design House Macabre Monday challenge.  Kuriously Korroded with Kenny K.  The challenge was to create a dark, gothic or halloween based art piece that is distressed in some way.  I distressed my edges.  I also tried to distress the word DANGEROUS behind Bodacious Bev by adding some black embossing and then red stickles.  I hand stitched around the card and added some red gems on the bottom panel.  I thought that panel looked a little plain so I added some black glitter pillow stickers from K&Co.  So glad I got to play today!!

Supplies:  Kenny K Digital Stamp; Paper – K&Co; Stickers (K&Co.), Gems, Stickles, Black Embossing Powder, Thread, Letters (paper, unknown manf.)  Colored with Copics.

Another Kenny K digital image.  I wonder if she’s cold?  Poor girl needs a coat!!  I used my Cuttlebug to make the middle panel, then hand stitched the edges and x’s in the corners.  Used stickles on her hat, gloves and boots.

Trying to get some cards done for the Holiday’s.  I’m currently WAY behind!!  This is a digi image from Kenny K called Mistletoe.  Isn’t she cute?  Colored with Copics and I added from Fun Flock to her coat, hat and boots.  Martha Stewart Glitterly Gum Drops and a Holly sticker in the corners, this was a pretty quick card to make.
