Little Pirate

In a Sweet Pea Dream, Making Memories, Pirate, Sweet Pea Stamps 2 Comments »

This card is for today’s card sketch challenge at SCS and the challenge over at In a Sweet Pea Dream “Anything at all #7″ for Sweet Pea Stamps.

For the sentiment, I just cut out a phrase that was on the background paper that I used from Making Memories Spellbound collection. I stitched the corners and cut out then popped up my little pirate with form tape to give it some dimension. I then added some stickles to her hat, coat and boots. I used chalks to create the clouds in the background.

Exotic Halloween

This creepy girl is Ching-Chou Kuik’s Exotic Halloween Girl from Sweet Pea Rubber Stamps and I have to say I think she is awesome.  Wish I could wear bones in my hair and still look this fabulous!

Sweet Pea Stamps

Colored with Copics. The zig-zag edge border on the right was actually part of the Making Memories paper that I used. I cut the orange background to match the zigs (or are those zags?) : p I added some stitching to give it a little flare and some stickles to the candles so it would make it “glow” a bit, although I’m not sure you can see that well from the image.

They’re Creepy and They’re Kooky…..

Ok, I admit, I absolutely LOVE Halloween!  Creepy, spooky, grim or ghastly! As you can probably tell my the name of my blog, a Poe fan.  I like the darker side of things, but not the horrifying, gory, murdering psychos of film.  I can do without Jason and his bloody chainsaw.  Halloween to me is Witches and bats, spiders and graveyards, Franky and The Count….well, you get the picture.

Because of my love of all things kooky and macabre, you will probably find lots of spookyness here all year long.  I have tried, but I can’t seem to limit my ghoulishness to Halloween.  Where is the fun in that?

These wonderful goth girls can be found at Tiddly Inks Digital Stamps.  You can find tons of other ghoulish goodness over there, so if you like the cuter side of creepy, but sure to go and check them out!

Gossmere was colored with Copics. Paper used is Making Memories Halloween, and Cosmo Cricket.  I used spider web ribbon I believe I bought at Wal-mart as the back ground for my “Creepy” sticker (EK Success).
