This fortnights Corrosive Blog Challenge is to “B” Unique and use at least 3 items beginning with the letter “B”.  Our sponsor is Dilly Beans and the image I choose is Stitch Monster.  I used a button and a bone I made from clay, and then some burlap ribbon at the bottom.  Also there is some brown in there and and a bandage on his eye ;p

I colored him with Copic and cut out a few things like the hearts and the bandage and his eye lid to pop up and give a 3D effect.  I hope you like the little guy.  Thanks for stopping by!

I created this card for the “Dress Me Up” Challenge going on now at The Corrosive Challenge Blog! Our sponsor for the challenge is Sassy Studio Designs.  Hope you can join us this fortnight!  For my card I used Sassy’s digi Red Hot Honey.  The grave yard scene was a digi stamp from Rick St. Dennis and the wolf man trying to hide from Red Riding Hood in the back ground there can be found at Third Coast Rubber Stamps.  I colored them with Copics and used chalks for the background. The bats were the taken from the reverse punch outs of an EK Success punch.

Here is a card I made using Witch Mercedes from Simply Betty Stamps.  I’m using her for the Facebook Fan Page Challenge.   I colored her with Copic Markers and used my Martha Stewart web punch on the side.  Paper is from Michaels Recollections Fall Collection.  Spider punch is EK Success and then I strung some Halloween webbing across the bottom panel.

Fall is in the Air…..Sorta

Corrosive Challenge, Fall, Halloween, Meljen's Designs 2 Comments »

Fall is in the air!  Well, I guess that would depend on where you live.  Here in Florida, we don’t have much of a fall season.  It’s pretty much just summer and winter here.  It makes me a little sad, as I LOVE fall, but on the bright side, I won’t be shoveling snow anytime soon either, so I guess it’s a trade off ; )

I created this card for The Corrosive Challenge where the theme this September 1st is All About Fall, sponsored by Meljen’s Designs.  You can check out all their adorable images here!  I hope you will play along with us this fortnight!

I used the Pumpkin Crow for my card.  I colored it with Copics and stitched the sides and added some black lace and gems.  The paper is by the Paper Studio.  Thanks for stopping by!

HDH – Lady Greystone, the Castle Ghost

Halloween, Haunted Design House, Rick St. Dennis 4 Comments »

Hi all – It’s been awhile since I posted anything to the blog, even longer since I have played in any challenges.  Gonna try and get back in the swing of things after a long absence.  I decided to play in this weeks Macabre Monday Challenge over at Haunted Design House.  Turns out, this was the perfect week to get started, because the challenge this week was Freaker’s Free for All, meaning anything freaky would fit the bill, and since I was in the process of creating my Lady Greystone card from one of Rick St. Dennis’ awesome images, I knew she would be perfect.

Digital Image by Rick St. Dennis.  Colored with Copics.  Web paper by Martha Stewart.

Here is a new Halloween card I created for the Third Coast Challenge #6 Non-Traditional Halloween Colour Twist where you couldn’t use any green, purple or orange in the project.  I used Ralph (DT-345) for my project.  I thought he would look good in blue.  What do you think?  If you want to play along in the challenge, click on over to the Third Coast Challenge Blog and enter!
