The Corrosive Challenge #217 – Splash of Color

Corrosive Challenge, Sassy Studio Design 2 Comments »

Today’s theme for the challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog is “Splash of Color”  That is, to create a white on white project with a splash of color.  Our sponsor this fortnight is Sassy Design Studio who is offering a fantastic prize of 4 digi’s.

For my DT project I picked Capricorn Portrait.  The white on white was very hard for me.  I didn’t really have a clear idea of what I was going to do, so I just sort of figured it out as I went.  It’s pretty simple, just some white layers and then I added some lace and red cord at the bottom.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you see you in the challenge!

Dress Me Up

I created this card for the “Dress Me Up” Challenge going on now at The Corrosive Challenge Blog! Our sponsor for the challenge is Sassy Studio Designs.  Hope you can join us this fortnight!  For my card I used Sassy’s digi Red Hot Honey.  The grave yard scene was a digi stamp from Rick St. Dennis and the wolf man trying to hide from Red Riding Hood in the back ground there can be found at Third Coast Rubber Stamps.  I colored them with Copics and used chalks for the background. The bats were the taken from the reverse punch outs of an EK Success punch.
