The Corrosive Challenge – Show Us Your Metal

Corrosive Challenge, Delicious Doodles, Steampunk 1 Comment »

It’s time for another Corrosive Challenge!  This fortnight we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles, and the prize will be 4 free digi’s, so you will definitely want to play along!  For my card, I chose Steampunk Mermaid.  I colored my mermaid with Copics.  For my metal bits I added some copper looking brads across the tops.  Then I added two gears  at the top, and a ships wheel to make it look like three gears, but also add an ocean feel. The bottom are  jumpers for jewelery that I just lined up and glued down.   I had a lot of fun putting her together.  Thanks for stopping by for a look!  Hope to see you for the challenge!

The Corrosive Challenge Blog – Go Green

Corrosive Challenge 1 Comment »

It’s time for another challenge over at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.  Today the challenge is sponsored by The Stamping Chef and the theme is Go Green.  For this challenge we had three options.  1) use the photo color inspiration 2) create a St. Patrick’s Day project 3) use something recycled on your creation.  I decided to go with the color green and I used the image Rockabilly Boom.  I colored her with Copics then cut her out and layered her over my circle panel and stars.   I added some tacks I bought from a hardware store along the bottom, I just cut off the stems so I could glue them down flat.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope to see you in the challenge!

For my card, I used Seafaring Seagull Frame.  I colored my seagull with Copics and added some stickles for some shimmer.  The wave punch is from Fiskars.  Paper is from The Paper Studio.
