A Day for Daisies, Corrosive Challenge No Comments »

It’s time for a new challenge over at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.  If you are like me, you are pretty tired of winter right about now, so this weeks theme, Winter Blues is perfect.

Our sponsor for this challenge is A Day for Daisies (ADFD).  You can check her shop here, or head over to her blog for some awesome inspiration!

The lucky winner will receive a $12 gift voucher to the shop

I decided to use the ADFD image Water World and do something ocean-y since I love the ocean, and can’t wait to get back out on the water when things start warming up a bit.

I colored her with Copics and then added some netting and tiny shells I had.  I really wish I could remember who made the blue background textured paper, but I can’t recall the manufacturer :(  The sentiment is cut from Graphics 45 By the Sea Collection.

Hope you like her and thanks for stopping by!

New Year, New Challenge! The Corrosive Challenge #215

Aurora Wings, Corrosive Challenge, Winter, Yule 2 Comments »

Happy New Year everyone!  This year’s first challenge from The Corrosive Challenge Blog is themed “Shiny and New” and is sponsored by Aurora Wings.  She is giving away a fabulous prize to the winner, so be sure to go and check it out.

My card was made with Aurora Wings image, “Snow Queen”  I colored her with Copics and then used some liquid pearls in her hair, which you may not be able to see real well.  After adding all my layers,  I added a metal snowflake that I got from Oriental Trading, then added some snowtex and part of an icicle embellishment from Jolee’s.  Hope you like!  Thanks for stopping by and hope everyonee has a fantastic year!
