Corrosive Challenge – New Beginnings

A Day for Daisies, Corrosive Challenge, Spring 1 Comment »

The first challenge for the new year for The Corrosive Challenge Blog is for New Beginnings, and it is sponsored by A Day for Daisies!  You check out all their wonderful digi’s here.

For my card I choose Pearls in My Hair as a representation of Spring.  The beginning of renewed growth and life after a long, cold winter.  Although, here in Florida, it doesn’t get very cold very often, I still can’t wait for spring!  I colored her with Copics and added some lace and flowers to the mix.  I hope you like her, things for dropping by!

This is my design team card for the new Corrosive Challenge starting today at The Corrosive Challenge Blog!  Our host for this challenge is C.C. Designs (formerly All That Scraps).

C.C. Designs

C.C. Designs has been in business since 2007, started out of our garage. Now we have our own line of rubber stamps and dies. We create cuties galore, if you like cute you will love C.C.Designs.”
For our challenge they are offering offering 3 digis!  What a great way to get you motivated to make those Christmas cards!

My card was created using Lil Lilita Christmas Willow.  She was colored with Copics and I stitched around the boarder.  The papers are from the Paper Studio and the candy cane was actually a mini tree ornament I got off the clearance aisle last year.  Sometimes Christmas decorations make the great card embellishments!

Thanks for stopping by!  And thanks for joining us at The Corrosive Challenge Blog Challenge!
